What Is Online Roulette?
Roulette is one of the most recognised casino games in the world. At 1998rich, you can play it on a digital platform with live dealer tables or RNG tables, without going anywhere.
The Wheel and Ball
The basic mechanics of roulette have not changed for centuries. The croupier or system spins the wheel, the ball is released, and the number where the ball stops determines the winner. Simple to understand, yet betting strategy can be refined over time.

Types of Roulette at 1998rich
Each variant has slightly different rules. Understanding the differences helps you choose a table that suits your playing style.
European Roulette
The most popular variant among Asian players. The European Roulette wheel has 37 slots — numbers 1 to 36 and one zero slot (0). Fewer zero slots compared to the American version gives players better odds statistically.
- 37 numbers on the wheel (0 to 36)
- Bets across multiple categories: single number, colour, odd/even, rows
- Best choice for new players just learning roulette
- Available in digital table and live dealer format at 1998rich
American Roulette
The American version adds one extra slot — 00 — bringing the total to 38 slots. Bet types and payouts remain the same, but the house edge is slightly higher. Suited for players who want to try a different variation or are comfortable with higher risk.
French Roulette
French Roulette shares the same wheel as the European version, but offers two special rules — La Partage and En Prison — that protect even-money bets when the ball lands on 0. These rules favour the player and make it a popular choice among experienced players at 1998rich.
Basic Online Roulette Strategies
Roulette is a game of chance, but understanding basic betting strategies helps you manage your balance more effectively throughout a session at 1998rich.
Martingale Strategy
Double your bet after each loss, and return to the original amount after a win. Suited for even-money bets such as red/black or odd/even. Requires sufficient funds and a wide table limit.
D'Alembert Strategy
Increase by one unit after a loss, decrease by one unit after a win. More conservative than Martingale and less risky to your account balance. Works well for longer sessions at 1998rich live dealer tables.
Fibonacci
Increase your bet following the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8...) when you lose, and step back two positions when you win. The rate of increase is slower, giving you more control over your account balance.
Straight-Up Bets
Place a bet directly on one or several numbers. The payout is higher if successful, but the probability is lower. Best used as an occasional variation within your overall strategy rather than as a primary method.
⚠️ Betting strategies do not guarantee winnings — roulette is a game of chance. Always set a spending limit before playing and play responsibly. Games at 1998rich are for individuals aged 21 and above only.
